Carolyn Lefley is an experienced photography educator with over 20 years’ experience teaching across further and higher education, as well as through community projects and independent workshops. She is currently Programme Leader in Photography at Exeter College, supporting emerging photographers to develop their technical skills and creative ideas. She has previously taught on undergraduate photography courses at the University of Hertfordshire, Coventry University, Anglia Ruskin University and the University of the Arts London.
Her teaching is informed by her own ongoing practice, working across digital photography, moving image and alternative photographic processes including cyanotype and liquid emulsion. Carolyn holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art (Photography), an MA in Photography with Distinction and a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
